A visit to Castell de Santa Barbara
In honor of Mrs. Barbara (aka Mom and our Saint Barbara), we visited her castle. Built in 9th century (800-900AD), the castle has a lot of history.
Castle was captured on December 4th, 1248 which is the Feast Day for Saint Barbara. So, they named it Santa Barbara. St. Barbara is the saint of engineers, firefighters, miners, and those who work with explosives.
We also went by McDonald’s and Burger King for Emily and Iris. Poppy didn’t let me eat there. “We can get a free burger on the ship.”
One more night in the ship. We will call everyone when we get off in the morning at 8am (Spain time)…. 1am Arkansas. 😁
